·   Site-walks, reading and interpreting site work according to drawings redline of sites audits

·   Off-loading and inventory of materials

·   Remove existing antennas, transmission line, and various components

·   Installation of antennas, transmission line including foam or air dielectric coaxial cable, hybrid cable (fiber/DC) connectors, TMAs, diplexers, and jumpers.

·   Set all antenna azimuths/down tilts per specifications and Rets, RFDS.

·   Assist in the installation of all aspects of site build to include: trenching, electric/data conduits, grounding, and power/ radio cabinets.

·   Sweep testing and recording including fibers on the homerun cable from/to COVPs.

·   Transport and dispose of removed equipment and waste

·   Setup temp COW/ roof top microwave shots for the new mobile COLTs  (mobile BTS microwave shots)

·   Power and Build new LTE (4G) sites (Switch and BTS side) (Hardware and Software)

·   Installed DC Pony power for all sites, RRH power and MW power. Setup routers to work with LTE eNB.

·   Tested all MWs head to head and all distance ends after completing site survey.  (RF/MW teams).

Clients: Samsung/Cell South LTE Interference Mitigation project

·   Trained at Samsung Test Lab on all equipment that would be used during the Mitigation trial, ePC installs, eNB installs / commissioning, firmware updates, RF testing.

·   Completed LSM Main Frame Wiring for future commercial LSM/FTP equipment.

·   Installed ePC, Telco rack to support LTE

·   Installed Rectifiers and power cabling for test bays.

·   Responsible for documentation of procedures to include, software/hardware/site installation, hardware commissioning, firmware upgrades, and RF drive testing.

·   Used XCAL-LTE program to complete drive testing, eNB coverage and hard over, intra-site handoff test.  Peak download and upload throughput test in different RF conditions.  Radio latency, idle to active latency, call setup coverage, to name a few.

·   Train and Support, tower/installation/drive test crews that will be in market for the Cell South LTE commercial deployment

 

Samsung/Clearwire WIMAX RMA Troubleshooting project

 

·   Help setup test lab and work areas that would be used for troubleshooting and/or repairs.

·   Documentation of all procedures to connect test laptops to the different ports of the PRAS/FRAS using CAT5 and USB to RS232 cables.  And the software that would be used when working with the different ports on the cards or RRH.

·   Received all hardware returned from the field that was marked as bad or DOA.  A complete inventory and inspection was preformed to insure accountability of all customer equipment.

·   Worked with Samsung software/hardware teams to finalize test setup and procedures that would be used for all future PRAS/FRAS RMAs.

·   Documentation of all procedures on how to interconnect test bays to run off of AC power with rectifiers.  Installation of GPS, inter bay cables, ground and power cables.

·   Checked all micro solder connections/repairs to ensure each were completed correctly before power up test/check was performed.

·   Logged all test readings from boards and RRH that were repaired or upgraded

·   Loaded firmware upgrade software on repaired/NTF boards, ran a base line connection check to ensure the boards and other equipment passed all test procedures.

·   Used electronic test equipment (Anritsu Site Master), measuring devices, meters and hand tools in analyzing, adjusting, installing, wiring, repairing, maintaining and testing BTS, microwaves, (Switch) Digital Cross Connects with field T1/NIU (Network Interface Unit) testing.

·   Performed required incidental and preventative maintenance on cell sites, power equipment, RF cables, and associated equipment, and completed necessary logs, reports and postings.

·   Used Software (Vortex/Hyper terminal/GUI/GPSTM commander), to access systems and equipment, BTS alarms and stats.
